Thanks to you and other people who use the GetRoads Locator we all can enjoy the app’s practical usability in our daily life. By adding, reviewing and sharing your or your child/parent walks you actively help to make countless people lives more fun and more diverse.

We developed this app out of a necessity. We are parents of two children too and we want to have overview where our children are, as we cannot be with them whole the time. We also like to travel and to explore new places with "eyes of other people", without to have always travel guide in front of us. Is there a way to arrive somewhere and be able to instantly find a nice walk that we will enjoy without any unpleasant surprises on the way?

We decided to create an app which could help people feel comfortable in the situation when they cannot be with their children or other people, they are responsible for. We called it GetRoads Locator because this is exactly what the app is about - tracking routes of other people and finding them, when needed.

Track

Do you want to see how much time does it take to you/your child to walk from point A to point B? You could use the GetRoads app to follow each road on timeline.

Search

When you are online, you can see where your child is at the moment. But you could also follow the exact timeline and road your child was walking during the day as the apps is saving all data on the server, and these are available anytime you will be online. If you would like change maps's settings, do it in standard way through settings within google maps.

Child lock

Is your child too skilled in using his cell? Could your child delete the data related to its steps within the day or restrict you the access to the data? Then use the Child Lock functionality. You could protect data in the cell of your child in this way, so your child will be unable to stop tracking. You can stay relaxed and have always the option to see your child's steps.

Share

Is your child going to a school trip, and you would like to share the road of the trip with other people? The GetRoads app allows you to track all roads you or your child was walking on and then share it with other people.

Statistics

Keep track on the amount of kilometers you or someone else’ve walked, the overall time it took you so far, your favorite routes, where you or your child walked.

Preferences

Getroads can be configured in many ways. There are following options how to set up the app. Choose the best option for you:
Location Accuracy - Best battery usage, Accuracy or Balanced
Location saving period - time frequency
Usage mode - Online or Offline
WiFi restriction - Send data only while WiFi in approach or Anytime
